Information We Collect

When you use InventAI For Home, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Your email address for authentication purposes.
• Inventory data: The homes, rooms, containers, and items you create within the app.
• Photos: Images you take using the camera to add to your inventory items. Photos are stored with your inventory data and synced across your devices.
• Device and other identifiers: Identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID, Android ID, an installation identifier, IP address, device model, OS version, language, and crash diagnostics. These are used and shared with third-party services (see "Third-Party Services" below) to keep the app working, diagnose crashes, measure usage, and prevent fraud.

Device Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

• Camera: Used to take photos of your inventory items. Photos are only captured when you explicitly choose to add a photo. We do not access your camera in the background.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the app functionality
• Sync your inventory data across your devices
• Enable sharing of homes with family members you invite
• Send authentication codes when you sign in
• Improve and optimize the app experience

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on our servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
• Secure database storage
• Regular security updates and monitoring

Your inventory data is also stored locally on your device to enable offline access.

Third-Party Services

To operate, secure, and improve the app we share limited data with the following service providers. Each provider acts as a data processor and is bound by their own privacy policy:

• Bugsnag (SmartBear) — receives crash reports and performance traces. Data shared: device model, OS version, app version, an installation identifier, stack traces, and (where available) a non-resettable Bugsnag device identifier. Used for crash reporting and app stability. Privacy policy.
• Firebase / Google Analytics for Firebase — receives app-usage events and the Android Advertising ID. Used for product analytics so we can understand which features are used and detect abuse. Firebase privacy and security.
• Google Sign-In — when you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your email address and name with us, and may receive device fingerprints from your device for security and fraud-prevention purposes. Google privacy policy.
• Google Play Services — used for Play Store in-app updates and Play Store in-app review prompts. Google Play receives device identifiers as part of these calls.
• Email delivery providers — used to send one-time sign-in codes to your email address. They process your email address only for the purpose of delivering that message.
• Cloud hosting (Beget S3-compatible storage and our own servers) — store your inventory data and photos on our behalf.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your inventory data
• Withdraw from home memberships at any time

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
