Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InventAI For Home (the "Service"), including the mobile application and web application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and InventAI LLP.

2. Description of Service

InventAI For Home is a home inventory management application that enables you to:

  • Create and organise a digital inventory of your household items, rooms, and containers
  • Take photos of items and use AI-powered image recognition to identify them
  • Sync your inventory data across multiple devices
  • Share homes with family members or other users for collaborative management
  • Access your inventory via both a mobile app (Android, iOS) and a web app

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address or Google Sign-In. By registering, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 16 years of age
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You will notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. Subscription and Payments

The Service offers the following plans:

  • Free Plan: Includes a limited number of entities (items and containers) and basic AI image recognition.
  • Premium Plan: $3.99 per month or approximately $38.30 per year (a 20% discount) per home. Includes unlimited entities and enhanced AI features.

Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. By subscribing to a Premium plan, you agree to the following:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to Premium features until then
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes at least 30 days in advance

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without our prior written consent
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users of the Service, including those with whom you share homes

6. User Content

You retain full ownership of all data you create, upload, or store through the Service, including your inventory data, descriptions, and photographs ("User Content").

By using the Service, you grant InventAI LLP a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This licence terminates when you delete your User Content or your account.

When you use the AI image recognition feature, your photos are sent to a third-party AI provider for processing. Images are processed in real time and are not retained by the AI provider beyond the duration of the request. We do not use your photos to train AI models.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, source code, branding, logos, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by InventAI LLP and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
  • We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI image recognition results
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount of fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for any loss or corruption of data, although we take reasonable measures to protect your information

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service, its users, or InventAI LLP. Where practicable, we will provide notice before taking such action.

You may delete your account at any time by visiting the account deletion page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, such as through an in-app notice or email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
